STOCKHOLM, AUGUST 15, 2024 — Curiouser and curiouser! Anxious Alices trying to solve the Mad Hatter’s release date riddle have been given a helping hand by Beyond Frames Entertainment. The publisher has just revealed that Escaping Wonderland, the Cortopia Studios-developed sibling to the award-winning Down the Rabbit Hole, will make its grand debut on the Meta Quest Store and Pico on September 26. Pre-orders are available now and discounted 10% from the game’s $19.99 launch price.

Alongside the release date reveal, the first glimpse of gameplay was provided earlier today as part of the first ever VR Games Showcase. Brimming with the whimsy and absurdity of Lewis Carroll's beloved Wonderland stories, Escaping Wonderland tells an all-new tale with a plucky protagonist who has been unwittingly pulled into a world from her distant past. Players should prepare to be puzzled as they unlock the mystery of Molly’s arrival in Wonderland alongside classic characters like the Cheshire Cat and the Red Queen – as well as a fresh-faced supporting cast.
“The stories we enjoy as children stay with us for the rest of our lives – and few stories are quite as beloved as Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland,” said Maeva Sponbergs, Beyond Frames Entertainment’s Head of Publishing. “Much as Carroll continued Alice’s adventures in Through the Looking Glass, Cortopia Studios has taken up the challenge of bringing all new heroes and a colorful cast of original characters into Wonderland for even grander adventures.”
